The Western Values in Finland

The Finnish media often displays attitudes that disparage the United States, Israel, and traditional Western values. These attitudes have also taken hold in the public broadcasting service (Yle).

However, it seems that Finns still support values related to home, religion, and fatherland. This is Western civilisation inherited from Judaism and Christianity.

There is now conflict in our situation, which instead requires conciliatory calm in the (so called) mainstream media.

One important thing is knowledge of our Western constitution. The law contains the most fundamental features of social life, such as individual freedom and rights. In particular, freedom of religion, conscience and expression [1] should be taken seriously by everyone.

Civilized respect for each other's rights is life in a republic, life valued as the best.
